I like to think of myself as someone who has two feet on the ground, and her eyes fixed on the stars. Which is a nice way of saying that I believe in living firmly in reality, while being guided by your dreams. Now, I'll be the first one to tell you that life is not always a picnic. But what it's taught me is that even in the worst of times, you can still embrace moments of laughter, love, and joy.
My goal as an astrologer is to combine my technical training with the wisdom of hard-earned life experience and be a guide along your path. In our conversations, sometimes I'll talk about your chart, while other times I'll ask you questions. The point is to get you thinking about what you really want and how you're going to get there. Because a lot of times, I find you know how to solve your own problems. You just may not always listen to or trust your own voice.
Over the years, I've learned the art of astrology through a combination of self-learning and guidance from a host of teachers and mentors who have taught me how to understand planetary symbolism in the birth chart, how the movement of the planets interacts and affects people in time, and how two people's charts interact to give clues about their relationship.
Oh yeah, and sometimes I cook. One of my interests in applying the principles of astrology to everyday life lies in studying how the energy of the food we eat affects our own energy, and can help us live in harmony with the energy of the day.
